IEAust Membership Card 2011

I joined the Institution of Engineers (Australia) as a Graduate Member in December 1967, with the rank of GradIEAust.

In December 1986, I was accepted to the category of Member, with the rank of MIEAust.

In 1990, I applied for and was granted entry to the national professional register as a Chartered Professional Engineer, with the rank of MIEAust CPEng.

In August 2011, I varied my membership category to MIEAust CPEng(Ret)  Chartered Professional Engineer (Ret) to reflect my retirement from professional employment,

National Competency Standards
From 1990 until 2005, I participated on Committees which were convened by IEAust to consider the claims of applicants applying for Chartered status, which included  persons with engineering qualifications obtained outside of Australia.
