BALNARRING STATION
This was on the Bittern-Red Hill line.

This was a rural railway branching off from the Stony Point Line at Bittern. The line had a fairly short life, opening on 2 December 1921 and closing on 29 June 1953

The station was located adjacent to the Frankston-Flinders Rd, on land which is now a children's playground, opposite Balnarring Rd. A stand of mature pine trees marks the site, next to the Balnarring Beach Rd.

The line then continued along what is now Civic Court, passing the present-day Primary School and then through open country, emerging over a level crossing to Merricks Station.
