I visited the Olinda Forest on 18 June 2010, 30 km east of Melbourne town - another bleak and muddy day! From the small car park at the junction of Stonyford Rd and the Olinda Creek, I followed Management Road 18 to Road 13, then descended to the old bridge over the creek, and returned. The creek was flowing strongly - there were many beautiful colored fungi. This hike was about 3 km return.
