HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THE EDXP

The EDXP is a Society of world radio enthusiasts, and its success relies on members sharing and exchanging their hobby experiences and accomplishments by regular submissions to the Magazine, or by postings to of our Community Forums.

1. Please note that EDXP does not cover monitoring over the Internet of transmissions from Remote Receivers, such as "Java Radio", or of programs intercepted via RealAudio, or Audio on Demand. If you are interested in these hobbies, please join one or more of the special Internet groups which have been set up for this purpose.

2. EDXP does not cover satellite broadcasts, TV DX, amateur radio transmissions, or utility (non-broadcast service) transmissions

* QSLs (verifications of reception) received, showing station/organisation name, frequency, country of transmitter, elapsed time for the reply, verification signer (if known), return postage sent (if any), brief description of the QSL

* Spectrum Surveys - such as a study of a particular group of frequencies over a specified time period - country, station, time, language

* Comments about broadcasting or programs

* New schedules

* Information from DX/SWL programs of international broadcasters

* Comments about publications and products

* Special programs or schedules

* Discussions about propagation in your area

* Personal information about yourself, where you live, your receiving equipment, how long you have been listening to distant radio, and your particular interests in the hobby

* Sound files and images may be posted

Note:

QSL ACHIEVEMENTS: The number of countries and stations verified (QSLs should be for frequencies not previously verified for any given station - duplicate frequencies do not count). Separate Achievement Statistics should be submitted for Shortwave, Mediumwave, Longwave, and VHF-FM
