The Templestowe Hotel, in  Parker St. was built in 1869 by C. Spark, purchased by Patrick Sheahan  and owned by the Sheahan family until the 1930s.

It occupied two acres - the Parker St frontage was 275ft, and the depth was 310 ft to James St. It was sited in the Templestowe Govt Town Reserve, and survives to the present day! Extensive modifications and additions were carried out in the 1960s.

The original part was built in 1869 by C. Spark, purchased by Patrick Sheahan in 1870, and owned by the Sheahan family until the 1930s.
