This page is a gallery of selected photos showing various
events and activities which took place in the Park in the 1940s and 1950s. Most have been sourced to
the Melbourne Age and Argus newspapers. Image resolution quality is not very good, however!
Both newspapers were very supportive of the Park and published many articles about happenings there.
The Park was very popular with kids, and visitors from overseas - in
particular, school groups and children from poor socio-economic backgrounds enjoyed the rural environment.
