SYNOPSIS This Website is authored by Bob Padula, OAM, of Mont Albert, Victoria, Australia, and is a project in his Pictorial History of Victoria Research Series It describes the construction, evolution  and operations of Balloch's Midlothian Bakery, Stables and adjacent Grainstore in Auburn Rd, East Hawthorn (Auburn) . A Chapter has also been included which looks back on many of the author's experiences and recollections during his childhood years growing up in Auburn, next door to the Bakery, from 1939 to 1959.
