Slocum and Walker’s Mill – 1919 to 1920

This was a small mill located on Scotchman’s Creek, south of the railway. A tramway carried logs to the La La siding.The present day Backstairs Walking track from the railway bridge follows the alignment of the tramway. The Dolley Grey picnic ground is at the approximate location of the mill
