HISTORY
Gladstone Rd links the Prince's Highway and Police Rd. Sub-development of large properties began in 1888, such as the Grange and St Leonards Estates. It marked the approximate western boundary of the original Police Paddocks.

The road was named after an early land owner, W. Gladstone,  whose properties adjoined the road.

In 1930, aircraft flights of short duration were offered for prices starting at ten shillings, from vacant land next to the road.
